Feedbacks
Pirozzo Peter Evia Melowes - Evanston Illinois
We loved this private tour of the château so much. Being taken care of at the hotel avoiding all the traffic, visiting the food market with that Sunday morning atmosphere it was all fantastic. When I saw the line in front of the château, I thought I was going to faint. And then, in a cheerful tone, you said, “Don’t worry, it’s only a two-hour wait!” before Peter started turning all red. I loved that joke. But then you said, “Oh, you don’t want to wait? Let’s go through the VIP entrance.” Within two minutes, we were inside the château. We laughed so much and were bursting with joy—thank you! The tour was absolutely sublime, with your detailed descriptions and the history of each room. The garden visit with music left us feeling like we were in heaven. Thank you again for everything. Pierre, you are an exceptional guide.
Frances Edda Sweeney - Jackson, Mississipi
Monique, a quick hello from Jacksonville. The whole family wants to thank you for the superb experience you provided. Without you, we would have been completely lost. Even just finding the bathrooms was like navigating a maze! We will never forget how quickly we entered the château. That tour, full of history, with magnificent furniture and majestic beds it was truly a spectacle. And that walk among the fountains, each more beautiful than the last it was stunning. I think we would have loved to be the king and queen of those times. Warmest thoughts from the entire Edda family.
Mike Lauri Howard - Santa Fe, New Mexico
Great Pierre, thank you for giving us a fabulous tour. In addition to the captivating history, we were delighted to discover the rituals of wigs, extraordinary stories about the different nobles who resided at Versailles. It was truly fascinating. Thanks again for choosing the restaurant La Flottille, the traditional pot-au-feu meal was delicious. The visit to the different gardens, with their very precise messages to keep the nobles within the park, was wonderful. Thank you for this unforgettable day. Lauri
Carl Mikie Peter Nancy Turnley - Sarasota, Florida
How are you Nicole. I hope you'll be very busy during the Olympic Games. Thank you for the exceptional visit to this immense château, surrounded by its blooming gardens—what a sight! Your timing was perfect right after the château tour with the skip-the-line entry, we were able to catch the musical fountain show. That’s a spectacle! We wanted to make Nancy happy, as she really wanted to visit Versailles, but we were quickly won over by the beauty of the place. A beautiful summer day with Nicole as our guide what more could we have hoped for? It was amazing. Peter
Mark Flora Dailly Charlotte - North, Carolina
Hello, it’s Charlotte the one who was always talking. I was so happy, Martin! I was watching TV when, all of a sudden, I saw horses jumping over obstacles, and there I was, back at Versailles. It was fabulous! I’m not particularly passionate about horseback riding, but I watched the Olympic competitions just to admire the château and the stunning gardens again. What a joy to relive our adventure in that magical place. Thank you for sharing such wonderful stories about royal life. I’ll stay in touch my friends are starting to want to go to Paris! Charlotte
Trevor Cristy Barrett - Wichita, Kansas
Congratulations on managing to satisfy the hundreds of questions from my 78-year mother-in-law, as well as my kids, who only wanted selfies without knowing the history of the place. The photos in the Hall of Mirrors made them look amazing. Our little dance in the gardens and the hide-and-seek in the maze were unforgettable. All the anecdotes about the nobles had us laughing so much it’s funny how people haven’t changed when it comes to getting what they want. We’ve looked through the photos multiple times, and the spots you chose, Pierre, are extraordinary. I think this is the first time I’ll enlarge photos and display them in my office. Three generations, three different perspectives, but one Pierre to bring us all together. Well done Trevor
Paul Kitty Brinda Gerry - Baton Rouge, Louisina
Thank you again for everything, Paul. Adding the tour of Giverny to Versailles must not have been easy to organize. We really appreciate you planning our entire trip while considering the best days for each tour. The explanations about the château, daily life at the court, the punishments imposed by the king, the underground fountain system, and the messages the king conveyed through the choice of statues were fascinating and so well presented. I was thrilled to offer my family a private, tailor-made tour, allowing us to do exactly see what we wanted while avoiding the crowds of tourists.
Terry Stevens Adelaide - Valparaiso, Illinois
Hello Pierre, I tried to organize our 4-day visit to Paris with my kids, and as you know, we spent three weeks trying to plan everything. A friend of mine recommended your company, and the next day, our entire trip was organized! Thank you again for the great advice to cancel the D-Day trip on Sunday to avoid traffic and reschedule it for Monday. Everything was so perfectly synchronized. The history, the context, and the motivations behind the actions of kings and emperors were truly captivating. We really enjoyed the brilliant blend of hard history, humorous anecdotes, and the unbelievable yet true events that changed the course of history
