The lunch in the château’s inner courtyard was fantastic roast pork with apples and the poularde paired with Crémant de Loire, what a delight! Our favorite castle was the Château de Chenonceau, with all its beautifully furnished rooms. Stopping at the local market to buy fresh fruit was unforgettable. Thank you for everything!

Hello, I hope you remember us! We visited the Loire Valley châteaux about a month ago. I apologize for the delay, I’ve been very busy, but I really wanted to thank you for such an amazing day. Exploring the French countryside and seeing the beautiful châteaux along the Loire, each more stunning than the last, was incredible. The visit to your king’s château at Chambord (I believe), what a magical experience! And the wine tasting in the troglodyte cellar from Leonardo da Vinci’s time. What a day! It was simply the most beautiful day of our trip. A huge thank you!

The Cooper family is back in Texas. What a magnificent country, and for once, we had a fantastic guide who spoke excellent English. Visiting the châteaux made us feel like we had traveled back to the Middle Ages. Even the steaks and potatoes were delicious, though in Texas, we have the best meat! The history of the châteaux was fascinating, and the anecdotes were what I enjoyed the most. Pierre, you are a wonderful person, and if you ever come to Texas, you’ll be my guest. God bless you.

After an unforgettable day on the D-Day beaches in Normandy, Peter and I agreed that my wife and daughters should experience the castles of the Loire Valley. Pierre, you truly made this day extraordinary by blending three very different styles of castles: the elegant and beautifully furnished Château de Chenonceau, a quintessential ladies' château; a noble residence where Leonardo da Vinci lived with all his inventions; and the majestic royal estate of Chambord, a vast property set deep in the forest. Pierre, you won us over with these two incredible tours—D-Day and the Loire Valley. We were absolutely thrilled by both. You really know how to treat your clients like royalty. Hi, it's Emily from Duluth, the little troublemaker who asked you a thousand questions! As you know, my father had postponed this trip several times because of his wheelchair. He was worried about visiting Normandy, the royal residences of the Loire, and Paris, thinking it would be too difficult. We were so incredibly lucky to have found you, Pierre. During our visit to the Louvre, you knew exactly where to go, and for the D-Day tour, my father was so moved that he started crying while holding your hand at Omaha beach. I’ve attached a photo of that moment. The next day, at the castles, you found every ramp to make the visit easier for him. A million thanks from all three of us!

I've visited France several times, driven by my passion for World War II history. Each time, I hired drivers, thinking I knew enough to get by. I was completely wrong. Between their poor English and fanciful accounts of D-Day, I wasn’t getting the experience I was hoping for. This time, I booked with Awesome Private Tours, à guide, Pierre, was incredible. His flawless English, extensive knowledge, fascinating anecdotes, and insights into secret and political histories were amazing. Without being overbearing, we had a genuine conversation between two passionate people.The next day, my wife joined us for a tour of the Loire Valley. What an adventure! Visiting the châteaux, tasting Chinon red wine, and having lunch within the walls of a château were unforgettable experiences. Traveling 5,000 miles to save money on a driver instead of hiring a proper guide? That was a life lesson I’ve learned well.

As you know, I came on an inspection trip for the groups we have in September and October. It’s always stressful to find the right company, but after today's visit to the royal Renaissance castles, I realized we’ve discovered a little treasure that will ensure the success of our groups. Le choix des châteaux était parfait, Le choix du déjeuner à Amboise village nous à permis de choisir chacun notre restaurant. Pour la dégustation tout le monde était d’accord avec le sancerre, pouilly, quincy, vouvray, chinon, quel feu d’artifice.
