I am absolutely thrilled to have discovered Awesome Private Tours! This experience was incredibly intimate, and our guide truly felt like part of the family. Arthur joined us at 7:30 AM right at our hotel, and from the moment we met him, it was clear we were in for an exceptional day. Arthur was not only personable but also incredibly knowledgeable, transforming the tour into a genuinely unforgettable experience for all of us. We explored the historic site of Pointe du Hoc and took a profound walk along Omaha Beach, followed by a visit to the Omaha Cemetery, which was both moving and informative. Arthur also went above and beyond to find us a local restaurant for lunch. The Quiche Lorraine was absolutely delicious, and my wife couldn't stop raving about the crepe—it was beyond anything she could have dreamed of! Our journey continued with the fascinating discovery of the German bunkers, adding a significant layer to our understanding of the region's history.
This entire experience was the best investment of our trip. It was not just a tour but a deeply enriching journey through history, culture, and local flavors. If you’re considering an excursion, this is an absolute must-do. I wholeheartedly recommend Awesome Private Tours—they truly are the very best!

I recently spent three days in Paris and took the opportunity to visit some of the most significant World War II sites. The tour was thoughtfully planned, covering all the key points without making us feel rushed. We even had time to enjoy a leisurely meal à la française, complete with a wonderful glass of Calvados. In the afternoon, our guide, Jérôme, led us to some of the most poignant locations, including the highlight of our trip: Omaha Beach and the American Cemetery. We were deeply moved by the history and sacrifice that took place there. At the American Cemetery, we took a moment to pray at the Returning to Paris, we felt a renewed sense of gratitude and positivity, deeply appreciative of the world we live in today. Thank you, Jérôme, for making this an unforgettable and meaningful experience.

From start to finish, everything was impeccably organized. We were picked up directly from our apartment, which made the entire experience smooth and convenient. I learned far more than I ever expected and saw places I never even imagined. Our guide, Michel, was not only friendly and personable but also incredibly knowledgeable, answering all our questions with ease.
Each stop on the tour was well-timed, allowing us to fully appreciate each location without feeling rushed. There were just the right number of stops to provide a comprehensive overview without being overwhelming. Traveling in the Mercedes van was extremely comfortable, and thoughtful restroom breaks were even organized along the highway.
Visiting sites like Omaha Beach, Pointe du Hoc, cemetery was particularly meaningful for us, cherry on cake the German bunkers and artifial harbor. especially with my husband being in the military. This tour was truly the highlight of our trip to France. I cannot recommend Awesome Private Tours highly enough.

Our first time in Paris was a dream come true. The city is steeped in history, and we were eager to explore it all. We began with a panoramic tour, picked up by a van right at our hotel. Our guide did his best, switching between English for us, Spanish for some lovely fellow travelers, and Portuguese for others. It was a bit chaotic—what they called a "semi-private" tour meant sharing a van with eight people. Not quite what we had envisioned, so we decided to cancel our remaining reservations. Fortunately, with a bit of luck, we found a private tour just for us. Our new guide truly knew how to make the experience special. We visited the Palace of Versailles with VIP access and spent a profoundly moving day focusing on Omaha Beach during our Normandy tour. The visit included the museum, the beach itself, and the cemetery—a day we will never forget. We felt like VIPs throughout, which made our holiday even more enjoyable. A heartfelt thank you to Awesome Private Tours and to Joel, our incredible guide. With love from our entire family.

I just wanted to let you know, Sebastien, how much of a key role you played in making our trip to France unforgettable. We were enchanted by the lush, rolling countryside and the charming stone houses in the little villages. Exploring the historic World War II sites, now so peaceful, was truly moving. We still talk about that lovely little restaurant and the delicious quiche Lorraine, not to mention the fresh ham with Normandy butter and a crispy baguette. David sends you a big hug, and Kathy and I are especially grateful for the bottle of cider you so kindly gave us. It was a perfect day that contributed to a truly memorable experience.Warmest regards, Peter

Back home and back to our daily routine, we find ourselves reminiscing about all the wonderful memories we made. We feel incredibly lucky to have met you. The way you connected with the kids with such empathy and warmth was truly special. They had an amazing time playing games on Omaha Beach and pretending to be soldiers in the German bunkers. They still love talking about their new friend Pierre from Paris. You did an exceptional job making our trip so memorable. Please take care of yourself and your family Kelly.

As you know, my 17-year-old son was less than thrilled about spending a day in Normandy. Despite your efforts, he remained glued to his video games until your stroke of genius changed everything. You decided to start at Pointe du Hoc, connecting the visit to his favorite game, Call of Duty. That was the turning point! He couldn't believe he was about to explore the real-life setting of the game he loves so much. Logan was ecstatic as he recognized the site, teach us even the history, and knew the sequence of events. Watching him engage so enthusiastically filled me with joy. Our lunch, our afternoon at Omaha Beach, and the visit to the cemetery turned into a lively conversation and a true exchange of ideas. You have an incredible gift for connecting with teenagers you should be a star in adolescent education! Thank you for this unforgettable day. It was truly the highlight of my trip. See you soon Pierre.
